Develop new and strengthen/expand existing personal and business client relationships. Provide financial solutions that meet clients needs and objectives using sales activities to include conducting consultative conversations (FiNAPs), Teleconsulting, Tag-ons and Referrals. Support the efforts and goals of the branch team through personal sales of a wide variety of STI products and services and use of referrals as appropriate across LOBs. Ensure compliance with internal controls, operational procedures and risk management policies. Pursues on-going education of SunTrust products, services, and other lines of business. Depending on branch size and staffing may provide Teller support. Licensed FSRs hold additional responsibility for sales of insurance and investment products. Additionally, FSRs in In-Store locations are responsible for sales and service to include in-store prospecting, and assisting clients on platform and teller transactions. Additionally, Licensed FSRs may hold insurance licenses (Life, Health and Variable) and/or hold NASD Series 6 and 63 registrations; and must maintain appropriate continuing education requirements as required for retaining licensing and NASD registration. Responsible for ensuring that all business transactions and practices in the individual s span of control comply with all regulations and the SunTrust Code of Conduct Advanced knowledge and ability in servicing and selling personal and business products and services. Lead sales campaigns within the branch, and act as an expert resource. May train or mentor new employees. Perform Teller functions as required. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years of experience selling financial services. Strong customer service and relationship skills, and demonstrated superior proactive sales skills and ability to meet sales and service goals Preferred Requirements: 2 years of college with focus on business, finance or accounting. 3 years financial sales experience in a retail branch environment and mentoring of others. License preferred or obtained in six months.

Duties and Qualifications FSR3-Requirements: Provides superior customer service through listening to customers, anticipating their needs, and recommending financial services. Opens new accounts, takes loan applications, and refers customers to specialized bankers, such as Business Bankers and Mortgage Originators, to ensure the needs of the customer are met. Educates customers on automated service options available including ATMs, Internet Banking, etc. Supports the goals of the branch through effective teamwork. As indicated by level, may assist with routine Teller transactions on an on-going bases, may train new employees, may assist Branch Manager, etc. Pursues on-going education of SunTrust products, services, and other lines of business. Fully proficient in the sales and service of personal and business retail products; comfortable with consumer lending and application process. Perform more complex service and branch functions such as wire transfer agreements and set-up, Notary, etc. May assist the Teller in transaction processing. May include responsibility for relationship expansion of specific accounts. Typically one year of FSR experience or equivalent. High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred. Enhanced Platform skill set.
Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year financial sales experience with demonstrated consistency in meeting sales goals. Knowledge of branch operations, policies and procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Requirements: College level courses with an emphasis on business, finance or accounting. 2 years financial sales experience in a retail branch environment. License preferred or obtained in six months.
